Ankara Streams vs. Urbanization

This study interrogates the volatile tension between Ankara’s natural hydrological systems and its rapid, expansive urban growth. By employing multi-temporal mapping, the research exposes how the systematic channelization and "paving-over" of historical stream beds have fundamentally altered the city's topography, exacerbating flood risks while eroding ecological connectivity.
